This is

OUR STORY

As a first generation American, I grew up around food. Lots of food. Traditional Greek rotisserie lamb roasting over hot coals for six hours, dry cured Italian meats, and desserts like Spanish flan and French chocolate mousse. I guess I was destined to be a chef.

Our goal at Taverna is to bring traditionally inspired, modern Mediterranean food to our guests and to support our local economy. We do our best to source ingredients from regional farmers and purveyors. It showcases the most vibrant foods, makes us feel good and gives our guests the truest Adirondack dining experience. We hope you enjoy!

FETA BAKED WITH ROASTED RED PEPPER, ONION, OLIVE OIL AND OREGANO
Served with warm baguette
TOMATO AND CORN CROQUETTES MADE WITH ZUCCHINI AND POLENTA

SHEFTALIA – CYPRIOT PORK SAUSAGE
Made with onion, parsley and lime juice wrapped in caul fat and grilled. Served with mixed greens and tzatziki sauce
DUCK BREAST CONFIT
Served over a bed of mixed greens with house raspberry vinaigrette

SQUID INK PASTA WITH CALAMARI AND CHORIZO SAUSAGE
Sautéed with cherry tomatoes and shallots in white wine
RED SNAPPER FILLET
Topped with a sauce of diced tomato,  onion, garlic, olives, capers and dates. Served over bulgur wheat.
PETITE CUT DRY AGED RIBEYE
Grilled medium-rare. Served with the vegetable of the day and house cut fries
