OUR STORY

As a first generation American, I grew up around food. Lots of food. Traditional Greek rotisserie lamb roasting over hot coals for six hours, dry cured Italian meats, and desserts like Spanish flan and French chocolate mousse. I guess I was destined to be a chef.

Our goal at Taverna is to bring traditionally inspired, modern Mediterranean food to our guests and to support our local economy. We do our best to source ingredients from regional farmers and purveyors, and compliment them with carefully curated imports. It helps us to realize our vision of creating beautiful Mediterranean flavors, showcases the most vibrant foods, and gives our guests the truest Adirondack dining experience.

STARTERS

GRILLED OCTOPUS
with Mediterranean salsa
CALAMARI
lightly floured and fried, served with house made remoulade sauce
CHEESE BOARD
a house selection of cheeses, fruit preserves, crackers and sourdough bread
CHARCUTERIE
a combination cured and house prepared meats. Served with italian mostarda fruit preserves and sourdough bread
DIPS
hummus – pureed chick peas, tahini, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper
